After much ballot casting, counting and deliberation. Well, just kind of. ;) There is a new host for SM6. It all started long ago and far far away in a distant....... Oh sorry, wrong place. So who can it be?

    Dear SMX Commitee;

    As some of you may know, I am in the process of upgrading loving wife's machine, which would leave me with a few spare parts. I also re-read the thread on upgrading some of the older SMX rigs. Here is what I would like to do, if possible.

    I would like to use one of my current folding boxes for SMX 6.
    Specs here,

    Abit NF-7
    Athlon XP2400m@2.3 (crappy stepping)
    1 gig pc3200.

    One of my XP rigs was going to be donated to the project anyway, this way it can be donated and save on the shipping by all parties. This would also free up the current parts listed for SMX 6 to upgrade/build another.

    I do understand that this rig in question would become property of the SMX project.

    IF this can be done, I will make the switch as soon as the contracts are signed.

    AWESOME Donut.... The committe will discuss this and get RIGHT back to you. The idea WOULD save us money and also allow us to upgrade another SMx rig or offer a new rig. Thanks for the offer!!!!!

    Do I need to sign the hosting contract first or can I switch it over now?

    The rig in question has about 8hrs. left on it's current tinker, I'd love to catch it before it submits under my name.
