Cheap PSu's Omega65!!! Thrax!!!
I remember thrax recommending a compusa psu... i went to their site and couldn't find a CompUSA specific brand, all i found was FMI , startech.com, and antec.
If thrax you could gimme a link or model and brand name.
Omega: I remember sometime ago in some thread you recommended some power supplies that cost about $40 to $50 to someone. Saying they were like rebadged robatron's or something along the line of that. If you could rename that power supply i would appreciate it.
I'm starting to collect parts for my new system and my last psu i went all out on and spent $100, but it seriously was undervolting my overclock so i'm thinking of going the cheaper way.
Anyways, thanks. If anyone else has any good suggestions my mind is open.

I'd think twice about the CompUSA brand of PSUs. I had to replace the PSU in system no. 1 below - one of the fans seized, and the PSU fried itself. Well anyway, I replaced it with a CompUSA 500W unit. Under full load, the voltage readings are as follows:
12v+ = 11.73
3.3v = 3.25-26
5v+ = 4.82-85
Yesterday, I exchanged the PSU with the PSU in my no. 2 AMD rig. In that system (not overclocked) the PSU has nearly the same output ratings, except for the 3.3, which fluctuates between 3.26 and 3.40.
With that said though, both systems have been stable with the CompUSA part.
As for the reliability of CompUSA PSUs, I've deployed approximately 65 so far between 2001 and now. No return customers as far as PSUs are concerned.
