1st question does anyone run it with 4 gigs of memory?

i do and the motherboard sees all 4 gigs of it but windows only sees 3 gig.

2nd How do you turn off the requirement of useing admin privlages to do some thing?

it requires me to do that just moveing some picts from drive to drive.

3dr Firefox cant save picts to the drive i want(USB) with out haveing to save them to an IDE drive then copying them to the USB drive.

4th Alt tabing out of WOW takes almost 10 sec to do, any idea how to speed that up?

Windows Vista 32 Bit
althon X2 4400+
4 gigs RAM
Nivdia 6800 GT
8 different HD(5 internals 3 externals)
ASUS A8N-SLI premum

any one got better drivers for Vista using the ones from Nivdia

I'll try to help with the first two:

    1. Sounds like perhaps PAE is not enabled, which usually needs to be in order to address more than 4GB of RAM+Pagefile in a 32-bit OS. More on that here

    2. If you are referring to User Account Control, there is an article HERE that lets you know how to disable it, I recommend doing it thru control panel or msconfig, but you can do it however you like. Just remember how you disabled it, because I have run into a few Application Installs that would not run without UAC enabled.

Windows Vista 32b can only address ~3.4GB of RAM.

Memory capacity is a function of an OS being 32- or 64-bit, correct? Every 32-bit OS is limited by this memory ceiling.

the 4GB ceiling is a hardware limitation of 32-bit processors.

64bit processors can address up to 16 EXABYTES, so we should be cool with that for a while :)

Altho, I think Vista 64bit only supports 128GB currently
