Changes are stressful, especially at a place I like ... At such times I think the best attitude is working with others; is there anything I can do? :D

Being really new here and never been associated with Icrontic apart from a trrawl through what archived stuff Matt posted. I hope all goes well with the merge.

PS if this means testing more innocent gaming machines to destruction and filming it :rockon:;D

    Now that's a lesson learned :D

Btw, Keebs, I see you've left the service. I can understand, after the hoopla surrounding our naval arm earlier this week. So long as you know you'll always be herr general.

I'm curious as to what you are going to do about your Folding@Home team name?

This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity, and I view it as a merger which, with continued support, growing content and community, will flourish to the fullest.

Proud to be a part of it; you guys are awesome!

Good luck with the merger guys, wishing you all the best for the future :)

I joined Icrontic just after it changed from Apu's. Those were, uh, 'spirited' days ;)

Any Icy Hot Stuntaz planned? ;)

HAHA, that just made my morning.

I still have most of those pictures. I could never get enough of the Icy Hot Stuntaz or the ghetto articles.
Mortin just didn't give a rats ass and did whatever he wanted, and we loved it :D

Hehe I remember a CRT monitor throwing video and a case smashing video in particular. Not sure if I still have those tucked away somewhere...

So what will happen with the post counts. Will they be combined for people that are members on both forums???

Will it be available as a secondary template via user profiles?

I was always fond of ICs darker color schemes myself

Jesus changing URLs is the death of a site.

The key to a successful site is frontend news/reviews/articles, plain and simple. Icrontic and Short-Media were never higher in Alexia or popularity or hits or internet reputation than when fresh, new, interesting articles were published! End of story. Believe it or not but thats what has determined the sucess during the history of IC/SM. Think of the times when when Keith or MM would create a glorious article such as breaking into the Xbox.....the key lies with the frontend...no matter what its called.

Merge forces or w/e but sometimes change is bad.

We aren't exactly attracting consistent members by the droves. I like the Short-Media 'brand' as it were, but I doubt a name change will be as stifling as has been alluded to.

AMBMB forum, oops another forum that changed names on me, has color schemes. I still use the old Green one. So most likely there is a hack for VB or some option to have this and just was not implented.

Ahh I see. I've pass that way a couple of times on my way down to Norfolk....sometimes very slowly along I-95 for 40+ miles in stop and go traffic.

My supervisor actually lives in Stafford and travels a bit of that road up to 234.

It doesnt take much to turn it into a parking lot, like this morning when the HOV central command didnt open the gates on time :banghead:

Its good to be the boss as I dont have to worry about getting lip if I am late, but on the other hand its hard to give lip if you dont set the example. I do enjoy being the manager now (new job started January), but I95 can be trying on you :p It certainly aint a leisurely ride to Charlottesville :) I know I66 is no better ;)
