origami simulations, used to figure out exactly how many different ways you can fold a piece of paper.

sometimes F@H causes game crashes but for some reason (WINXPPRO) a reboot will usually allow both game and F@H concurrent. Both overclocked 2100+ and overclocked P4 2.6C systems exhibit same behaviour. Could have something to do with ATI cards on both systems but that's strictly a wild guess with 0 evidence so don't feel proud proving me wrong =)

I'm running an overclocked P4 2.4c rig and the dreaded 5900U and it crashes me outta my games although I am running win XP Pro...

Anytime that I'm programming, when I attempt to recompile a project while F@H is running, the compile takes ages to complete. For some reason, the F@H client doesn't give up it's CPU cycles to the program that's running in the foreground and requiring them. :)

As for games, I notice slowdowns during heavy action sequences in most games that are 3D intensive. Closing both F@H console windows cures that though.

No need to jump down someones throat

I dissagree. There are threads stickied everywhere, and there is the ominous search button. It is impossible to miss them. It's not a matter of people not minding doing something, but it is something that they shouldn't have to do as it is already obvious from the huge amount of information on display.

Stop being a dickhead. Admit you're wrong and back down.

And in what way am I wrong? Oh wait, I'm not, and then when someone can't even write the question in remotely ledgable English, then something needs to be said.

Yes, the point of a forum is to answer questions, but not the same ones that have been answered Xx5000 times already and have the answer plasted all over the thread the question was posted in

NS, before you bust on the legibilty of someone's writing, make sure you don't spell "legible" wrong. You're wrong for immediately taking that tone of voice when he asked that question. There is a lot of information available on this site, and sometimes even when the answer is under your nose you can't always see it without a little gentle push in the right direction.

Grin and bear it, NS. Stop being so smug and condescending when someone isn't as perfect as you.

There is a slight difference between an entire post written in AOL Engrish, and a single typo. If you wan't to argue about something then don't close the thread when you do it because trying to have the last word by locking the other person out just pisses them off more.

At what point did I say I was perfect? Oh, thats right, I didn't. When did I criticise every mistake someone makes? Oh thats right, I dont. Stop making up your own ideals and look at what is infront of you. You can ignore it if you want but there were 2 sides to the Icrontic decline, and you are siding with the other half.

Seriously, this whole debacle makes me shake my head and wonder at people sometimes:

People: If a post makes you mad, just IGNORE IT, don't post how stupid and/or ignorant you think the person is.

Posting "you're dumb" or "RTFM" or "use the search, dumbass" or "google, you idiot" is condescending and arrogant, and just plain not nice. JUST DON'T POST

Ergo, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.
