Humm... newest version eh? Time to try it out.
I ran it and I lost maybe 500 points...bfd.
Compare for yourselves
ROFLMFAO!
That's the way it's been lately, anyhow...
I remember a friend of mine picking up a considerable boost after setting his old TI4400 to a 32mb aperature.
I think once I install my mobo that actually HAS a BIOS where you can CHANGE settings, I wil have to try that out. /me spits on dell
"Please note that the AGP aperture is merely address space, not actual physical memory in use. Although it is very common to hear people recommending that the AGP aperture size should be half the size of system memory, that is wrong!"
Check this article out ... http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=1 ...scroll down til you see "FREE Access to the BIOS Optimization Guide!" and click that and go down to aperture size.
NS
some strange 3DMark03 results
217x12@2.06v (2.6gb)= 5895
221X11.5@1.95v (2.5gb)= 5896
221x11.5@2.0v (2.5gb)= 5924
221x11.5@2.03 (2.5gb) = 5931
213x12@2.03 (2.6gb) = 5878
214x12@2.03 (2.6gb) = 5917
215x12@2.06 (2.6gb) = 5916
it seems to be all about the fsb ...shame I can only get 221 out of it ...if I only had water cooling this chip feels like it could go far.
I'm done with cpu/fsb testing ...now to oc the vid card!
edit:/ now that this is burned in I can get 230 with tight memtimings and oc'ed vid card ...I should have waited a few more weeks I suppose.
I think your results kinda bear that out.
Anyway ...raised my 3dmark03 to this
393/393 - 221x11.5@2.0v = 5974
I'm sure I can get higher by raising the vcore but idunno if i wanna go any higher on the agp volts ...is anyone running agp at 1.8v?
It's pretty stout and now that I got the bios all sorted out it's real stable and should OC like crazy.
