    Ok I read the first post and that's it so... :p

    Gnome: just use the onboard sound. I've got the same board, and it's as good as if not better than any consumer level PCI card you can stick in it.

    Oldtimer just get off this forum. You think that standard is good enough but some people just want the best. Seriously don't criticize people just cuz they have a problem. Try and help them (though i doubt you can). And by the way pretty much everyone on this forum has been using computers for a long time. My first was a Macintosh LC II 55mhz biotch.

    BTw oldtimer he isnt a mod and you need to check urself before attacking other people as you are the older one. And Aspire don't lash out towards anyone If you have aproblem Contact a Admin or mod. Checkurselves guys or as my teacher used to say in highschool.. EDIFY
