VLC Player is our Download of the Day.

It's the ultimate cross-platform, all-formats-supported media & DVD player with no codecs needed. It lacks Real since it can't legally use it, but we wish everyone else would ignore Real too.

In spite of its lack of ability to play Real- Real <<< steaming pile of dog poop- it's an amazing player. I use it as my default DVD/media player.

VLC has other cool features that make it more then a video player. You can setup video streams very easily with it which makes it very handy.

It even played the shady .bin file I downloaded the other day. Hooray!

I love it, it is almost the only media player I use. I even downloaded it at work since for some reason windows media doesn't like playing 720p feeds without skipping.

    VLC though.... eats them up

Definitely a great player, runs high bit rate movies without a hiccup unlike WMP.

I downloaded it and tried it. Thumbs up. This is a keeper for sure. Best all-in-one player I've tried.

Been using it for 2 years, but it has issues with HD material from time to time. Media Player Classic + FFdshow is now my fav. combo.
