Oh boy, oh boy.
In all seriousness though, if I had the money to spend on it, I'd buy one.
Note that I did not say that I'd give up something else to buy one; I said if I had the money; in other words, if I had $1019 sitting around, with nothing better to spend it on, I'd buy one.
Why? 'Cause I'm a gadget nut. I like gadgets. Cell phones, PDAs, speakers, computers, GPS systems, $1000 Pentium 4 processors... they're all gadgets. And gadgets are fun.
I have seen about 5 reviews of it and all of them does over 4 gigs on air. 4.5 on sub-zero cooling. Even seen a 5gig+ screenie. That's high numbers, regardless of the costs.
No Amd user will probably buy it since it would include buying a new mainboard as well. But users that already have a 865/875 board probably will. A new FX system will cost about the same.
