I've done more looking at R.U. and decided they're nothing to worry about. Their larger members are nowhere near the powerbase. "Gimli & Legolas" and degobah are both half of Shipwreck's size. I'll take them on in a couple days.

It's true, R.U. are weaklings... and not very good players! (no scouts)

I know what they have... and it ain't much. :rarr: Pillaging, ftw.

I produced a settler over the night. Do I just send it where I want to build and I'm good to go?

You need all three settlers and 1500 of each resource. THEN you can send them to any empty spot you want.

Ah ha, "Gimli & Legolas" has contacted me requesting an invite into the alliance. I'm inclined to accept since he has troops and two villages smack up against our powerbase. It's almost as if he knows I scouted his secondary base last night ;) (He didn't know; he had no one there).

Taking a look at the powerbase and the land available, if I want a regular 6 cropper, I'll have to build a square or two away from everybody. Should I consider building on one of the less balanced squares for the sake of having our borders touch?

I don't follow - almost every area near/next to us has 6 wheat fields. In any case, adjacent borders is only relevant for reduced transport times, that's all. :)

What I mean is, some tiles have 5,3,4,6, etc. What I want is a 4,4,4,6. Follow? But maybe it doesn't matter?

Attention all of you at stronghold: There is a guy somewhat south but right up against our stronghold from L.O.T.R. who stole my city name. If anyone else is willing to attack him with me, ill bring my hero, 22 legions, 5 imperials to support an attack. This is driving me nuts.

Oh. I dunno, you might want to put preference on iron and wood over clay. Clay stops being as useful after your initial build out. Entirely up to you.

What did you want us to do about it? Fal Dara is already pillaging them on a daily basis anyway...

Broady or Blackhawk: I'm planning to vacate the wood oasis at -89|142 in favor of the wheat/clay at -87|145 (probably tomorrow). If one of you is interested in it (you're the only ones in range), let me know so we can coordinate my withdrawal with your attack (w/hero).

You think 400 Phalanxes, 45 Swordsmen and a hero (Theutates Thunder) will be enough to capture/conquer that oasis? I mean, once you leave it, do the wild animals come back?

If all is good, I'm currently upgrading my hero's mansion to lvl 10 to be able to capture an oasis.

No, the animals don't come back very quickly. Your hero alone should be able to take it. I'm concerned about someone else swooping in between me leaving and you attacking, not nature.
