in the morning I should have enough for at least one settler, thursday night the second settler should be made, then friday morning the third. So my goal is to have that village underway sometime friday morning/afternoon.
Thanks to a kind donation by Saracen I'm able to move the schedule up a bit. Will probably have all three settlers by Thursday night. ...but I didn't consider the long training time and the extra resources they need to carry..so my village might not be made until Friday after all. :rolleyes2
How do merchants carry more resources? Just with a higher level marketplace?
Oh and how many fields per hour do merchants travel?
First settler sent to snake-eyes...but was I supposed to give him the 750 of each resource? I couldn't figure out how to do that exactly. :o They should really spell these things out for people like me.
Are there any more 9 croppers near the power base? I had my eye on one, but it was taken already by someone in {IC} I forget who exactly at this moment.

afaik, I have the only "croppers" in/near the powerbase.

I would personally wait until you have 3 settlers ready to go out before sending just incase while you have one settler out someone else takes over the spot? Not sure if it can bedone but better to be safe than sorry as they aint cheap resource wise!
-89/147 - Harudath (in place)

-91/148 - AlphaTrinity
-88/145 - Markaroon III (Saracen) checked with Tbonz 1st as he was going here.

-93/147 - still free
So if I have all three settlers at snakeeyes..how exactly do they get the 750 resources? Or do they have to leave from one of my villages to take the resources? If that's the case I'll still send the settlers to snakeeyes since I don't trust keeping them in my village where I could be attacked at any time, then I'll just bring them back and send them out again. That's a lot of wasted time, but like you said they are worth a lot of resources. I hope my spot doesn't get taken during all of this

You have to recall your settlers and send them back out. They will automatically take the resources with them.
AlphaT - bring them back noting how long it takes. then when you're ready you have the required resources, click on the square you want to create your new village. The settlers will take the resources with them automatically.
4th village ready in 8 hours... I'm thinking out in the to help with resources... but then again, since major offenses will come from the powerbase, maybe another resource farm and troop creator IS a better idea?
4th village ready in 8 hours... I'm leaning towards the powerbase. Concur?
You have to remember that setting up a village usually takes a week (at least) before it is self-sufficient. So, another base at the outpost, for you, will be a second drain of your resources/merchants way out there. I'm sending my next village out there quite soon, but only because I have 6 self-sufficient villages of resources at this point.
So Powerbase it is then... my 5th can be out in the outpost. Q-Prime is basically done except for upgrading troops abilities. It's all troops and sending resources to other villages.
Q-Core2 is at a point now where it done with resources (8, 9's on all resources) so it will be tapped out and need more resources that it can produce and could use another resource feeder hence another of my villages.
Q-TriCore is almost maxed on it's three single resources so it will continue to rely on other villages for iron, clay, and wood in order to continue with wheat upgrades. Now I'm thinking I should have gone for a normal 4,4,4,6 village out there until I could afford to funnel resources to a 15-cropper.

Put me in for -89/145. Dobber is there right now but I'm hoping it disappears soon with his inactivity. Hopefully that's asap.
I'm about to grab -88|144 (one space removed from the bunch of us). It matches up nicely with my other village at the Stronghold. My Settlers will be on their way in 2 hours. Expect them in about.... 9 hours.
I've been supplying my new village every so often. I'm putting everything I can into getting that village's resources up quick so it can be of some assistance soon.

No, my last settler isn't even finished training yet. Don't worry about it. I'll be next door at -88|147.

Ooohh, things are getting a bit tight up there now..
now if someone could take Dobber @ -89/145 out of the game ther'd be a nice little space for me.
There's another 4/4/4/6 just 3 squares over at -89|148, right next to mine and Harudath's new homes.
BuddyJ has earmarked that.
