In case you hadn't heard, I quit my full time job as a prepress manager of a printshop and am starting full time employment writing, editing, and general Editor-in-Chiefing for Icrontic.

Tuesday will begin the dawn of a new era in the life of this site as I put 100% of my focus into returning Icrontic to the top of the web. Back in the heady days of yore, IC was a premiere tech destination with millions of visitors. We've gained a lot along the way - a more tight-knit, and friendlier community as well as an amazing history, and we intend to use those new assets to bolster our strength and make IC one of the best destinations for daily tech, lifestyle, humor, and general geek content.

For the locals, or adventurous not-so-locals, I'm having a "/quit" party at Kuhnhenn's Brewery tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm.

So come have a beer or 4 with us, and raise a glass to a year of new beginnings. Invite whoever you want. Cheers!

Kuhnhenn's Brewery is on Chicago Road (13.5 mile) right off of Mound.
