Hi everyone.
This is great timing to join the slow club. I have law school applications to get done.
I have no idea what i have. I know that Malwarebytes and Kaspersky say I don't have anything. I also can't provide you with a HJthis log because It will not let me run it. It also disabled my zone alarm firewall, which i uninstalled thinking it was the culprit.

Where can I start?

I also can't get to safe mode, i have tried severall time and it stops once i get all the drivers to come up on the screen.

    Hi, welcome to Icrontic.

    Step 1:

Please download tools to your desktop:

    Step 2:
    Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:
      • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    • Then click Finish.
    • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. please copy and paste the log into your next reply.
    • If you accidently close it, the log file is saved here and will be named like this: C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt

Reboot your computer after the scan!

    Step 3:
    Run Random's System Iformation Tool

    • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
    • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
    • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (will be maximized) and info.txt (will be minimized)

    Hi Veka,
    Thanks for helping me.

I already have Malwarebytes, it found nothing....but I cannot execute the installation for RSIT. Somehow my "Add/Remove applications" is not working. I think my Registry is M.I.A. for it. I cannot even open it from my control panel. I have been looking online to see how i can restore it. Intil i can get my computer to install again I am stuck.

I also ran a virus check on Kapersky and it too found nothing.

    Update#1:
It seems I am missing several registry(s). I cannot search, go wireless, add/remove, or install programs...those are all i know of for now.

I have already gone on my CMD and did regsvr32 /appwiz.cpl {it gave me DllRegisterServer in appwiz.cpl succeeded}...but i still could not install anything.

Would I have to go a different section on here for this? I know these are far more technical issues.

    Update #2:
OK. After so many hours and days of toiling with this dilemma I have decided to just reformat. I hate that i am doing this. But for this to be this troublesome I think that will be the cleanest way out of it. I hate the idea of going about it this way, but I have so much i need to do that I really can't waste more time on fixing this problem. By the time you see this I will have saved the files i need and probably done.
    Thank you very much Veka.
If it would not be as serious and more time would be on my hands I would have stuck around.

    Thank you, again.

I reformatted my computer, twice because i did not delete the old partition first...lol.
After looking online for hours i only came across on thread in particular and it was related to a worm. But by this time I was too tired to bother and figure out if that is what i had.

    Thanks Veka
