I'm moving.

For the next few years, I'm leaving the frigid winter wasteland of Cincinnati and spending some time in the OC. It's nothing like you see on TV, though, there's actually real people out there. I've met them and they're great. (Cool people like Sledge and RADA live there)

That's beside the point, though.

Saturday, February 7 I'm having a going-away party in the Cincinnati area, and I'd like to invite anyone from Icrontic that can make it. Expect to stay over until Sunday if you do come down. Don't worry about accommodations, we've got that covered, you won't need a hotel... if you're the type to stay at ICHQ then you'll be fine with us.

Festivities include a visit to America's first authentic Hofbrauhaus, located in Newport Kentucky, for some good German food and some delicious brews that uphold German purity laws.

    I think I've seen the Oklahomans of IC abbreviate Oklahoma City as OKC.

    Pssssst... This event is definitely ON. Anyone else able to make it?

    Also, additional stop added: we'll be visiting the Cock & Bull English Pub to meet more folks after Hofbrau. (They have a decent 'on tap' list and a huge bottled menu)

    Also, it appears that Hofbrau's February special is the Doppelbock, which is a very tasty brew. They only serve it in half liters, though, because it's 8.0% Alcohol by volume. Their standard brews can be ordered by the half or full liter.

    The group is meeting up at the Hofbrauhaus at 5PM, but if you want to meet up at my place sooner than that I'm free after noon.
