What sort of PPD are the Nvidia GTX 470 and 480 making? The 470 has 448 processors and is selling for around $350, the 480 has 480 processors and it's going for $500.
Those extra 32 processors better do a LOT to be worth $150!

Assuming that you could cool such a beast and keep it within the maximum power consumption PCI-e spec (not possible), a dual-core Fermi card would be the wonder of the Folding world. Of course, if Nvidia could actually produce the the current card with all the 512 shaders working, the 480 would take the number one position.
We'll see what happens when newer WHQL drivers are out and when the GPU3 client is finalized. Nvidia has definitely had its problems in the past 18 months with huge, hot GPU cores, but their driver software team is outstanding.
