Yes, you can hide before you shoot. Not so much after.

There is an audible thud from the diaphragm bouncing. You see these being sold/demonstrated in amusement parks and if people in the crowd are unaware, they can be caught off guard by the airblast. However, in a living room you would definitely notice the sound.

So, I've been thinking A LOT about what ICHQ would have been like when it was first built, and how it functioned as a household with servants and Victorian ceremony... So, I've been searching the Internet to help me out a bit, and I found a picture of a Victorian kitchen strikingly similar to the one at the Sullivan house, and I'd thought I'd share for those of you who are curious like me.
