[IC] EVE Player Names

List of player names from IC members, with other relevant info as requested

Several of us have joined the corp @Harudath is a member of, Sonic Intoxication. To join, request it looking up Harudath, click on Employment tab, then the "info" button next to the corp name and hit apply to join. Mention IC and Harudath. Must be in a station.

Harudath among others have change corps. SOTOX is still around but you may want to consult with other players before selecting a corp depending on your goals in game.

    Might as well put ships up and professions up. I doubt it'll clutter the thread too much. It's also nice to know what people are flying and what they're interested in.

    Two main ships I use right now are a Tristan (frigate) and a Catalyst (destroyer). Also have a Navitas, Imicus, and Atron that I haven't used much yet. Currently pondering my first real purchase, likely either a Vexor or a Thorax.

    That benefit is minimal. Anyone can create an account and see the non-public threads. We won't be going to the extreme level of limiting sub-forum access to specific members (at least, I don't have that capability)

    And besides, the perceived benefit is what? Them not having access to our names, which they could look up in-game easily enough?

    I think he is more getting at not being able to associate EVE names with each other or with real people. Especially useful for people who use accounts to spy on other Corps/Alliances.

    You can get set up a class of Eve players, then have a discussion area just for them, perhaps. Once a user class exists, an area can be defined just for that user class with custom permissions, which Vanilla has support for.

    there is sense to what i was saying, for the reasons others stated... but probably nothing for us to worry about...
