I heard Kingdom Rush so much. Original, well balanced, fun, and challenging.
Bloons TD 5 makes me a sad panda. I got to where I thought I was "decent" at the game and I still can't get past most of the easy difficultly maps on Insane difficulty.
I think BTD5 is designed to get you to spend actual money to make it beatable at the highest difficulties
Yeah.. get you hooked and then make it impossible to progress without spending real money. It's what I hate about that "freemium" model so goddamn much. Ethical arguments aside, it's not a free game if it can't be completed without spending real money - it's a trial version.
Round 88, Medium difficulty, second map. Even two Sun God monkeys with a monkey village, an extra super monkey, a bunch of maxed-out planes and ships and other towers wasn't enough for this one.
Things really start getting absurd around round 95. I got to round 102. I had Technological Terrors, two Sun Gods, and then this: The Temple of the Monkey God. It's just a massive beam of light that completely obliterates everything.
