No liquor. 21 and over can drink beer. That's that. No rum and cokes, no irish carbombs. No whiskey. No flasks. No dumping rum into fast-food cups full of coke. No liquor.
Wine is also fine. If someone wants to do a tasting of some type of fancy liquor (like the older-than-you scotch challenge of 2011), that's cool, just let me know and portion it appropriately (i.e. it's not a tasting if 3 people are splitting a fifth). We may also have an official toast with a liquor, TBA.
But yeah, what Brian said. The less sober Expo is, the more conflict and stress there is for your hosts. We can deal with it when there's 30 guests, not when there's 75.
There's a bar a quarter mile away if you can't make it without a glass of scotch or a rum & coke all weekend. That said, don't have 4 and stumble back - we don't want to deal with it.
...you guys still have that helmet of mine, right?

Assuming your hard cider isn't 40% ABV and he approved wines/beer, so anything in the 10-15ish % ABV and below should be fine.

that's fine. hard cider is sociably acceptable to start drinking at breakfast

So beer is ok, that's a relief. For a minute I thought Lynx wouldn't be allowed to come.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY? THIS is what gets you to 500? THIS is how the great 500 race ends? This is just... I mean, it's sad, isn't it? You prepare for something. You fight. You put your reputation on the line. You stay up nights, haunted by @UPSLynx's words ("You can't beat him. Literally. CAN'T. He spams Dog, and everyone dumps their lulz on him"), by @Primesuspect's words ("she knows she can't win."), by my own often misplaced sense of humor, and worst yet, by everyone else seeming completely oblivious to the fact that I'm way funnier than you. Even so, I knew I wouldn't win - I knew, indeed, that I couldn't win. But I thought, at least, that when the end came that I'd be able to say "he deserved it."
You robbed me even of that, didn't you, Sith Lord @Canti?

This!!! Although not the ginger one..... I'll be attending this year Since I haven't been to the new house / venue yet, what is the rooming situation at the house? I know previously we started doing hotel rooms to alleviate the space issue, is it still a concern?

Got sloppy drunk off of beer.

//edit: If we get the Gatorade fridge in the carriage house working, that might expand capacity significantly.

Will buy the next time I'm at a computer.

But seriously a beer tasting would be pretty awesome and to reiterate due to deletion tentative in pending a job in April.
