The poor Lightning. They looked so gutted after that second goal. They were winning for most of the game until the last six minutes.
Same thing happened to my college's hockey team this year. First time in ~30 years they made the NCAA tournament. Led the whole game. Other team scored 2 in the last 5 minutes to send it to OT then iced it 2 minutes into the extra period (NCAA Hockey tournament is single elimination). They looked completely stunned.

I was at a wedding so I missed the game but I saw the score and Tampa Bay even the series up 1-1 with a 4-3 win.

Tampa Bay went into Chicago and simply bolted the Blackhawks with a late goal by Cedric Paquette to secure the Lightnings win.
Last 2 minutes was INSANE... So fricking fast and frantic. I thought there were 3 or four shots that got through but didn't. Wow... I'll admit, the Lightning are real...

With only three games left of the Stanley Cup playoffs who was going to walk out of Tampa Bay the victor? With a early goal by Patrick Sharp because of a bone headed play by Ben Bishop
Valtteri Filppula tied the game up in the second to make it 1-1. But then the clincher for Chicago was when Antoine Vermette scored in the third with 18:00 minutes left of the game. Chicago is one game away from winning the cup.

That was an amazing Game 6, there were a ton of great saves on both ends. I was obviously pulling for the Lightning, but it was a fantastic series.
Yea, I felt bad for the Lightning. The whole series was really close; last game was the first one where there was a difference of two points. I hope that they come back for the playoffs again next year!

Lets go Tampa!
I really hate cheering for the Blackhawks, but I hate Tampa Bay even more.

I was not hating on the Bolts but after the lengths they have gone to keep Blackhawks fans out it really disgusting.
Brandon Saad scores the go ahead goal for Chicago to tie up the series at 2! It is now a best of 3 games going forward.

With goals by both Duncan Keith and Patrick Kane. A 2-0 game win gives Chicago the series and the Stanley Cup over Tampa Bay.
