(Yes, we have a longstanding tradition of naming our events with a four-letter code)
ICNY 2013 is happening at ICHQ Detroit, our second major event at the new HQ. Our New Year celebrations are always fun, and it’s a great thing to be able to enter the new year surrounded by friends.
While January 1st, 2013 falls on a Tuesday next year, the celebrations will begin on Saturday, December 29th. Sleeping arrangements can be made in the attic again, but do remember that December in Michigan is generally quite frigid. As always, we recommend a hotel for maximum comfort. Hotel St. Regis and Motor City Casino Hotel are both close (MCC is easy walking distance), and both are very nice.
During the weekend, Icrontic member Teramona will be hosting a lovely Icrontic afternoon tea party; be sure to see this thread to sign up separately. You can also RSVP to ICNY on Facebook.
Bring someone to kiss (or be ready to be kissed by random girls and guys), bust out the bubbly, and join us as we begin to celebrate almost ten (or 13!) years as a community (depending on whom you ask!)
