My proposition:
You will compete with each other and hold yourselves to the 2011 US Air Force scoring system. You're not going to pass with an "Good" score of 74.9-89.9. You're going to pass with an "Excellent" score of 90.0 or better. You will do so by September 1, 2011.
Will it be difficult? Yes.
Are you up to it? There's literally only one way to find out.

If you think you can handle it, post your baseline scores here before April 1, and report for duty April 1.

- If you don't have a finals core of 89.9 or better, you fail.
- If you don't measure your score at least one per month and post here, you fail and are out of the program.

The site wasn't very clear on the 'rules' of the test... Can you please clarify?
Ab circumfrence
1 minute of pushups
1 minute real situps
Need not be done serially.
1. Ab circumference
2. Push-ups
3. Sit-ups
4. 1.5mi run
I failed on #1 and #4 every time. I'm not a runner or built like a twig, even when I was in good shape.
Then we do it in an hour.
Might be warm enough to do a baseline tomorrow. Just looked up the last time I ran - August 26. It'll make a good story?

1825 - 1900
AC: 33.0" (20.0 pts)
SU: 48 (8.3 pts)
PU: 50 (8.4 pts) (I'm sure there were some cheaters in here, did it in the hotel alone)
RT: 11:15 (54.8 pts) (Treadmill Cheat. I'm going to have to map a route near my hotel for this)
Total Points: 91.5 EXCELLENT
Full disclaimer: I've been working out lately as there is nothing else to do in Phoenix.

I will get my official baseline tomorrow.
boo, no cheats.
I know. First run at it so I just went for it. I'll get official soon!
This looks like it will do fine, just fine.
Will baseline soon.
1745-1835 15MAR2011

One minute is NOT long time when doing the pushups and situps.
1.5 miles. "D" (and "A", which is covered by "D") is ICHQ.

I think this is the wrong level for us, it assumes an already healthy fit military man, but I did the test anyway. My score was abysmal. Mostly because I had to keep slowing down to a walk during my run to let my legs recover. My tibias felt like they were going to snap in half, and I couldn't take it for very long, so I ended up going over the 17 minute top on the test, and scoring zero for my run.
My baseline is 17.1
I'll be honest. Getting to the goal you've set in the OP just isn't going to happen for me, so this is likely as far as I go in the challenge. That run makes it impossible. I could prolly get my sit-up and push-up total higher, and I'm losing inches already, but I simply cannot run without hurting myself. If that portion of the test could be converted to the elliptical machine, the skate machine, the ski machine, or a stationary bike, I would do a lot better, I think.
Oh well. Perhaps I'll participate in the next challenge.
I should also get back on endomondo. Work out 5 days a week, but since I'm indoors I keep forgetting to do it.
