A visit to http://uk.asus.com/ reveals a popup with this message:

Therefore, ASUS disclaims responsibiity and/or liability for any services and/or goods offered through such website:
www.asustek.org.uk or www.r9800xt.com.”
Short-Media has had quite a few postings from both guests and members from the UK (and beyond) regarding these sites and their company (Avnet Micro), no deliveries, no refunds and money stolen
