POP Goes The Gmail

It looks like Gmail users will get POP support. This means you will be able to use mail clients like Outlook to download your messages.

The service is free to current Gmail users (not everyone will have POP support at first) but most likely won’t be free forever.

Personally, I think their web interface is better than Outlook anyway...
14 Nov 2004 ~ 3:47pm Leonardo How do you know whether your service is POP-capable yet? I performed a search under the Help menu for "POP", but but nothing came up. I really like Gmail; but it would be so much before with inbox folders.
