Apple: Mac OS X Doomed? @ CoolTechZone.com

Recent security concerns have focused a harsher light on the operating system.

February was a horrendous month for Apple’s OS X, as security analysts revealed four bugs in what appeared to be an impenetrable operating system. Apple has long held the safe position in the market, but last month proved to be dreadful for the iPod maker. Granted the bugs weren’t nearly as serious as Microsoft’s Windows encounters on more than a few occasions, but is Apple’s OS X the next target for malicious code writers?

    Why must websites use sensationalist, a la National Inquirer-type headlines to get one's attention. I guess there's such paucity of news outlets writers feel compelled to cry 'The Sky is Falling' to get attention. Although I'm not a Mac user, I'd say that a more bogus headline couldn't have been written.

    Nosferatu Notice it's from the same site as Firefox Community: Sickly Out of Control. It seems CoolTechZone trying to drive traffic to itself by acting as a sensationalist tech news site.

    I think an increase in the discovery of OS X security flaws is quite newsworthy. Since many exploit/virus creators lean toward copycat tendencies it's likely that this is just the beginning of a new trend.

    Sorry about my smart-alec comment - it just goes to show how very doomified I really am... :bawling;
