Short-Media Reports 5000 Times

News just in…. Earlier today Short-Media posted its 5000th news report. In the space of just 2½ years, that’s an average of over 5 reports per day. A big thanks to everyone who’s contributed to the news over the last couple of years, not forgetting the SM-Bot. A special thanks though go to Shorty, for creating one of the greatest news posting systems on the web.

Also, this milestone couldn’t be more timely as Short-Media has just taken on more staff to expand its existing news team. I’m sure they’ll do a great job and that they’ll introduce themselves through their reporting.

Here’s to the next 5000!

First SM News Post (Posted by Spinner on 26th June 2003):

Shorty The FULL credit for keeping the news flowing falls to the original poster :D

Spinner has kept the news flowing no matter what. I may have provided a few lines of code but the hard work goes to our esteemed news manager and his team.
