   To avoid chaos, Damilaville said the ICANN also adopted a motion designed to "limit the abusive registration of new domain names."

   Yeah, cuz they've done such a great job up until now.

   Just what we needed. Even more confusion for the end user. Right now, most casual internet users know of 3 domains - .com, .net, and .org. possibly .edu, but those are the 3 most widely used ones. I can't wait to try to explain to my grandma how to get to her flash games or cooking recipes once it switches to .fun or .food .
