What is Dynamic Energy Saver?

Is Gigabyte’s Dynamic Energy Saver technology helpful or just hype?

Leonardo I'm sure it will work. EIST, CPU throttling, "Cool and Quiet," - all other forms of electronically controlled voltage regulation that yes, actually work. For overclockers that run Folding@Home 24hrs/day? no
  2. Snarkasm
Snarkasm It's supposed to work well with moderate overclocks, but I wouldn't trust it for anything significant.

    Thrax LOL, power savings.

Leonardo Much of the newer power saving technology, both hardware and software encoded works very well. These advances are right on the mark for businesses with multiple computers or households where the computers are left on. If it weren't for Folding@Home, I'd be running all the power savings options available in my computers' BIOSes.
