OCZ Technology feels bad for you. Honestly, they do. And by “you”, I mean anybody who is fuming mad that they can’t make it to the sure-to-be-mindblowing Expo Icrontic 2011. “Oh, I can’t afford the plane fare” you lament. “Time off from work? Impossible…” as you shake your fists. “My parents won’t let me!” “My wife…” “My new baby…” and so on.

And so you’ll sit during the weekend of June 23rd-27th, morose and dejected, watching as your Icrontic friends play awesome games, participate in awesome events, and perhaps most importantly….

Win awesome prizes.

Well, check one thing to whine about off your list: OCZ Technology wants you to not be so sad. To that end, they’re giving away a 50gb Vertex 2 SSD to one lucky NON-attendee. To qualify, here’s what you need to do:

To qualify, you MUST do ALL of the above steps! If you miss any one of those things, you’re not a valid entry!

That’s it! Everybody who does that will be entered to win a mind-numbingly fast OCZ Vertex 2 SSD. Talk about a major upgrade!

The winner will be chosen during Expo Icrontic, most likely on June 26th around noon EST. I’ll choose the winner randomly from qualified entrants and BOOM, OCZ will ship your drive. They’re good like that.

I wish I could attend because I feel like the only gaming interaction I get these days is online, and it's not even close to the same. Maybe I'll make it next year. It's not terribly far, but I have family coming to stay with me during it this year.

I want to meet up with the rest of the IC gang, and nerd out and party. You guys are now my second family.
