I have no idea what it is about... maybe I'll leave it that way so the movie is more exciting.
Fail.
Netflix.

Did anyone else play Tron 2.0? I played about 2/3 through it.... so far I was on track to 100% the game but then had to reformat my computer and reinstall due to catastrophic Windows XP fail (a regular occurrence for me ever 8-16 months). Sadly this was before I made regular backups of my data so I lost my save file
I will if the older movie is required to fully appreciate the new one but otherwise, I want this to be a completely new universe for me when (or if) I see it in theaters.

I couldn't play Scorched Earth for weeks after seeing Tron because I was didn't want to kill all the little people living in the computer. Reboot had a similar effect.
The 20th anniversary remastered edition isn't so bad. If you overlook the horrendously infantile computer terms (Damn! That was my most powerful program!), and just enjoy the scenery and fantasy factor, it's still watchable.

I saw the 20h edition when I was like 10 because my dad brought it to me while we were at Blockbuster and he was like "This movie is pretty nerdy, I think you'll like it". I rented it and watched it and I was all like OMFG this is some trippy stuff! I watched it like 10 times that week, I thought it was amazing.
I hope Tron Legacy is darker than the first, that would make it totally epic.

I owned the arcade game. I watched the movie fifty bazillion times. It became that much better after I realized Lora/Yori and Lacey Underall are played by the same actress.

Oh yeah.... Netflix delivered Tron to me the other day... I should really watch that huh?
