Yesterday it was confirmed that Californian chassis maker NZXT is preparing an mATX enclosure with airflow like none other.
Dubbed the Vulcan, the chassis will ship with two 120mm fans: an intake at the fore of the chassis and an exhaust at the top. For those who demand more, the Vulcan has room for another 120mm exhaust on top, a 200mm intake mounted on the side panel and an 80/92mm exhaust located in the rear. The total airflow for a fully-configured Vulcan comes to approximately 213 CFM intake and 124 CFM outtake.
Other features include room for CrossFireX Radeon HD 5970s, an integrated fan controller, a detachable carrying handle, toolless installation and a front I/O panel with eSATA, USB 2.0 and audio.
The NZXT Vulcan stands 7″x16.6″x16″ (WxHxD) and weighs in at 12.8 lbs. The chassis hits retail on May 25 for €59.90 ($80 USD).
