A link appears in a very obvious place when you have some.

No, you cannot access Google through Outlook as I've already stated in this thread, and explained why you would not want to anyway.

wrong. You CAN access it through Outlook, using this program
    http://jaybe.org/downloads.htm
again, like keebs said, it may not be worth it because of the excellent interface google has (and i'm a hardcore webmail hater, but gmail did it decent :))

also, if you use Blogger, you can get a free invite to gmail. If I can ever get mine to work, blasted wireless connection, I'll pass it along.

I got fast responces from gmailswap.com.

    Here's what I posted:
Offering a 1.2 Gb HD with unknown contents

Because you never know what you're gonna get, and sometimes niether does the person who gives it to you.

I found this drive in the back of a crate in an abandoned warehouse.

I hooked it up only to ensure that it spins. I don't know what is on it.

It could be filled with million dollar ideas, it could have secret information about our futures, sent into the past to help us deal with The Robot Rising of 2030, it could be filled with digital photos from an expedition to another dimension, it could contain only a small suite of Microsoft products, or it could be completely blank.

Wouldn't you like to know. Or maybe you'd like to give the mystery package to someone else as a annonymous gift.

Immagine one of your friends opening a small scary package which contains only a computer harddrive...

Hook me up with a Gmail account, and I'll send this drive to any place in the US.

Can you send them to yourself? To give yourself several email addys?
  • edited June 2004
    MMonnin-

yes, as long as you send it to another email address, I think you could create as many as you wanted. (Just think of the gig's...)
