I just got final approval from the VP of Technology. Folding@Home is getting a little Juniata College power as of this afternoon

It's one lab for now. If it goes well... dare I hope it will go on the standard lab image this summer? :eek2:

We'll see how this plays out... for now, please welcome JuniataCollege to the stats sometime tomorrow :rarr:

In the middle of nowhere, down a road that makes you think you're driving through the an evil forest.

Anyway, nice work, Keebs. You pulled a major score with that one! :respect:

They are the lab machines where I work :) The electricity increase is really negligible, especially for a college. The computers run 24/7 anyway.

Ah I see what you mean, Matt. I had visions of you with computers on the sideboard, on top of the telly, underneath the bed and on top of the wardrobe and maybe even one in the dog basket! ;D

As you say, for a college it makes sense. I'm still hoping once the MEV site gets its act together and gets me back in the forums there that I can maybe have a word with the powers that be and try to get the council machines running folding too, although they may well not allow it but you know me, if you don't ask, you don't get, right?! :D

Oh well, watch this space as they say. :)

    Tactical error!

I neglected to reboot the PC contingent after installing the service. A weekend wasted :( They are all back on track now, though.

There's so much wrong here I don't even know where to begin... :wtf:

    A) Prof is not a "heal bitter" nor is he a heel biter. What in Sam Hill is a "heal bitter", anyway? A surly Doctor?:D

    B) I have no idea how someone would "Love him... like a dog that is"...

    ...UH-OH... :o

On second thought, let's just drop it...

While we're dropping things, look who's going to be dropping soon - under 100 days now, Keebler! :rarr:
