I cant even stand to look at this thread anymore! Im so dissapointed I wont make it!! I was looking forward to meeting everyone :bawling:
I hope all the attendees have a great time. Good luck!

So how many people are like hanging out before/after the LAN?
I currently am scheduled with my plane tickets for like Wednesday morning through Tuesday evening but I was thinking about changing my plans for like thursday afternoon through monday morning, but unfortunately it's going to cost me a penalty fee to make the changes.... is anybody else hanging out before/after the LAN festivities??
It looks like I might have to cancel my trip out to the SMLAN due to some personal matters. I'll have the next week or so to decide on it, but I'll be sure to keep you all updated, kind of sucks, but I have a chance of getting some of my money back on the airline tickets
Just so you know, the LAN ends on Sunday the 31st Shwaip. I'm not sure if Prime wants us all off of his homestead by the end of the 31st or the next morning.
I won't be able to make it this year. Wife and I have been invited to go fishing, the bass there are huge. I wouldn't have been able to play anyways, this heat wave has been rebooting my computer big time, and like that matters, noone has Joint ops. I know this LAN is gonna be a blast, more socializing than the last event.. hurts like hell to miss it.
The weatherman down here in Cincy says it'll be over 105 degrees (over 40 for those who use a real temperature measument system) this weekend. The city has posted a heat advisory, and warned that everyone who does not have airconditioning please take advantage of the shelters downtown. Especially very young or very old people.
Please tell me that Detroit is far enough North of here to make a difference...
it isn't really proximity to the lake that makes a difference, but more so the fact that detroit is down-wind of the lake. because yesterday and today in chicago it is like 105 in the shade. About 10 or so people have already dropped dead from the heatwave.

It's not definite yet, but, it's not looking good
you're only allowed to stay that extra day if you .... uh.... jump on one leg three times and yell "cbdroege suffers from sleep deprivation"
:bawling: :bawling: ....
Great I just wet myself from laughing.....
That Sucks.... You'll be missed. Hopefully next year.
