Okay, so quick question. Im about to get a palace, what do i need to do in order to build a new city/ move my capitol? Im looking to move, as i said, down by where a bunch of you have villages for protection. Can i get my pop/resources to go with me?
You need a level 10 palace. You need 3 Settlers. You need at least 1,500 of each resource and you need a certain number of culture points (you'll definitely have enough by the time you get to a level 10 palace).
I read somewhere that you cannot make a Senator if you've made a Settler. Might want to check into that because if it's true, you'll need to make your Senator(s) first.
I would skip the palace and go with a residence. It's cheaper and save your Palace for your second village near us. I didn't that and know I am stuck with a nice palace far away from my friends... no king wants to come out to the boonies to visit. :bawling:
When your palace reaches lvl 10, you can train a settler. You'll need 3 settlers...
I noticed that too. There is a lot of redundancy in the requirements.
You can demolish buildings to make room for others. I assume some of the redundancy is because of this (Maybe I'll demolish my academy after all my upgrades to make room for another building, but then need to rebuild it later to do such and such)
lol, upgraded my warehouse to level 6 and I've only just started realising how long it'll take to fill that.. won't be upgrading my warehouse for a while xD
OK... first off... I click really quick so the first attack was a mistake. It was suppose to be reinforce the oasis, not attack. Then I realized my mistake but my hero was SOOOO close to level 5, I just had to do it again. I'm done now.
So this person in PANTH1 (wing of our only ally) attacked my oasis the other day merely minutes after I claimed it - they were probably trying to claim or raid it before I took it. I wrote it off and sent them a message saying hello.
Tonight, I come home and the same person has attacked the oasis with quite a few troops, and took like 10K resources from me. I was like "WHAT??" and sent a message exclaiming about wtf was going on.
Turns out, she'd already messaged me, profusely apologizing, saying she hadn't seen it was occupied, really needed the resources, and didn't even know we were allies. The apologizing continued for like 3 or 4 messages back and forth as I was saying "Hey, that's fine, I really don't care"... I was just worried they were going to steal the oasis!
...so I sent her 8K of everything to be nice. I'm such a sucker. :o
- The boundaries go out to 400 in every direction
- The map WRAPS around: the distance between 400 and -400 is 1 square.
- The top player has a 15-cropper surrounded by 3 wheat oases as his capital. Holy crap! This highlights, though, that your ultimate power will be measured by whether you can find a valley with 15 wheat fields in it, etc. It's the only way you can field an army against the big dogs. Snake-Eyes is a 15-cropper, but there is only a half-wheat oases nearby.
