I just got attacked by this guy... He killed the troops that I had started building for my army, but he didn't take any resources... He's attacking again in 10 minutes... Probably to take back his prisoners...

Well, you sure are being taken by a big guy, huh?

I'm a bit worried about the withdrawal of PANTHER - any reason obtained yet ? No-one has acted aggressively have they ? Seems unusual they have not messaged anyone, I thought they were quite friendly :)

Does it matter? There's nothing we can do if that's the case, especially me.

The strategy remains the same: build the powerbase to invulnerability, then jump to the outpost.

I take that back. Roadblock is going defensive; Legionnaire, Praetorian, and City Wall are the projects of the day. :ninja:

Time to concentrate on defensive troops - I suppose we have some advantage with one of Keeblers cities being right in the middle of their power base.

    EDIT: ^^

Actually, it puts us at a severe disadvantage. If they decide to take it, they can. And Roadblock is the reason I can send defensive troops and resources to the southeast half of the alliance.

Hey Keebs, my main village I think is closest to Roadblock and will be able to lend a hand if you need it.

Sad part is, none of us have seen a full out attack from a big guy. I figure we'd see 5000 troops MINIMUM in multiple waves with multiple people... it would hurt. A LOT.

I hope this is just a "Hey, they're probably a good source of resources so why be allies." and not an start of something like war.

I'm spending all my resources tonight on upgrading the palace... My second village will be military, my third village will be resource-orientated then I'll move my 4th village to the powerbase as a balanced village.

The oddest thing is that I'm larger than most of their players AND in their powerbase AND more than willing to help them, so it seems a rather odd turn.

I strongly recommend making your second village at the powerbase, and moving your third & fourth to the outpost. Any starting village could easily become indefensible very quickly.

Yeah, the outpost is the "safe"zone. We can always send troops and resources out there in case of an attack. The outpost is for building and storing, the power house is more of a base for attacking.

    Fine, you've persuaded me

EDIT: It's gunna take me about 20k more of each to finish the palace to level 10 ¬_¬

Within a couple weeks I don't think we'll need panther at all, but for now it's dangerous  After looking at their guilds, they do seem pretty small.

The only thing we need Panther for is to not bring trouble to Keebs village, Roadblock. If not for this, phuck'em. Unfortunately, the alliance being restored would be a huge worry of of Keeb's backside and ultimately ours, allowing us to focus on other interests.

Roadblock is getting raided in 14 hours, but not by Panther (that would be more like 14 minutes).

Are they anywhere near the 15 croppers you guys took? That seems to me to be the only connection to these attacks.

ChiModanas and ?sanuzik (who attacked me) are both Lithuanians.
    Probably friends/acquaintances/fellow countrymen playing Travian.
I'm thinking they have to know each other in some manner.

No, there's absolutely no one near those.
