He's in kamikaze now, it seems. I replied asking him to inquire with their diplomat if he was interested in allying with me.
I also messaged back ARSE, telling them to send an alliance invite and I'd accept.
I am writing to you to ask you whether you would be interested at all in joining the Zero X alliance; thats obviously if you pass our requirements
If its a yes or a no please respond as soon as possible

Options? It occurs to me that by joining their alliance I may be able to provide {IC} an otherwise unlikely opportunity at being involved in the end game in that I'd be in a position to request that this alliance not be attacked and get insight into how more massive alliances operate.
I guess this really strikes at what our ultimate goal is in the game. Pragmatically, we cannot win without a mighty coalition, and we're not going to be the center of that coalition at this stage. We've discussed and attempted to partner with Zero, but they've taken few allies and 2/3 of our alliance is not large enough to constitute wing members.
The question becomes whether this opportunity is a new path forward, or just them trying to cherry pick an alliance's largest member.

Perhaps its a test to see if we're worthy of an alliance......alternatively, they're probing for weak spots prior to taking some people out.
Weakening {IC} might make Keeblers decision an easier one to make.

I don't know how large of a scouting party I could kill, but I'm guessing I could probably kill up to 1,200--the same number of scouts I have. I have a lvl 20 wall and I've been lvl'ing up my troops in the armory, but maybe the blacksmith would be better in that regard. If I can kill up to 1,200, then I think that person will leave me alone, or blow me off the map. I doubt someone will have 1,200 scouts slaughtered and then come at me with just 5000-6000 troops.
How diplomatic to slaughter someone's scouting party!

OK, so, here's the point where we COULD try to enter into an alliance by changing our name and become a wing. ARRSE is not really where I'd do that but since Zero has blown off our alliance (except for Keebler).

Good idea. I would kinda feel like we're selling out, but to be realistic our options will probably start to close somewhat quickly as time passes.

It's like the line from Men in Black... "A person is smart, People are Dumb." In this case, Zero has a few nice members but the alliance is an ass. Zero has no class and they seem to want only Keebler and farm the rest of us.

It still rubs me that they are the ones that dropped a few of our members from their alliance then attacked them mercilessly. No class. Then they try to steal members from our alliance but never contact the leaders to try and make an alliance. Grrrr What have we learned... ARRSE has no class but at least they are interested.
I know we have several players that are more casual but we're not about just ranking and killing. We're more of a family. OK... that aside, Panther's rankings have dropped like a rock. They will not be in the end game. Will ARRSE??? They could be. We will not be if we continue to be farmed by Zero.
We have three options...
disband and find home in stronger alliances,
continue to try to ally {IC} with stronger alliances, or
rename and become a wing to a stronger alliance.
I strongly recommend that we enter into discussions to become a wing of ARRSE since Zero ignored us. We then need to ask for some serious help to get us by this crap from Zero...

FWIW, I'm all for becoming a wing for a stronger alliance. I haven't had any personal issues with any of the alliances mentioned but I'd rather stay away from Zero. The whole ignoring/farming thing isn't cool at all.
Yeah, FEAR sent me a "join us now" type message. I told them I'm sticking with {IC} but if they want to arrange something on a larger scale to contact Keebler.
