But yea i thought so, it is a HDTV though. But, nevertheless its not a moniter. Guess he will have to run it at a lower res. Cheers for the help, Liam, get some pics!
there is an LG hd tv 32" in my liveing room and it could run crysis all the way to 1920x1080 ran it on 1366 x 768 looked fine but in windows it would not fill up all of the screen and there was a big green line along the bottom of the screen
any one know of a better monitor and selling this tv and i do still want a tv tuner so may get a hdmi freeview box aswell if i can't get one with built in tuner or freeview
well is looks good be you say a tv well never be as sharp as a monitor this has
1920 X 1200 Maximum Monitor Resolution
20,000:1 Contrast:D
24"
and freeview but i don't want to out and buy another tv
"This stunning LCD TV is fully 1080p HD ready"
is that just the DVI that is 1920 X 1200 (a bit over HD) so it will be fine if i get a DVI cable and it will handle 1920 X 1200. atm i have a DVI to HDMI cable.
Yes i was suprised to when he showed me the box. It works remarkably well, alot better than the stock cooler and silent!
If liam overclocks it i think he will put a high quality fan on it.
He found these 90cfm 120mm fans at only 19db on 100%
Pretty amazing fan but is quite expensive.
so the t240 will be fine with pc gaming as the pc will go parst 1900x1200 res
but if i use some think like a blu ray dvd player the res will be hd 1080p which that monitor do's not soport am i right??
i am going to buy it soon i look at the manual online and it says
Just Scan
- Use the function to see the full image without any cutoff when HDMI/DVI (720p/
1080i/1080p) signals are input.
Just scan is a setting like 4.3 and wide

has any one got one. what is a good gaming monitor??
what do you guys use?????
why is it not HD that is what it says
1920x1080 (So-called 1080i or 1080p)
1280x720 (So-called 720p)
A monitor that runs 1900x1200 or 1366x768 is not an HD resolution.
but if i use some think like a blu ray dvd player the res will be hd 1080p which that monitor do's not soport am i right??
it was this monitor

my ati driver gos up too 1920x1080 so if the t240 runs 1900x1200 max res that should be fine. is that right
