Yeah, we've got a bottle here, Eggroll gifted ICHQ with it. It's beautiful, in a leather and velvet carrying case. Next time you come out here, we'll have a glass, Bobby

Oh, classy move Eggroll! Ryder hooked me up with a glass, so I assumed it was his.
Tonight I did well for myself. Kingpin picked up some Bell's Oberon. First Oberon I've had since I visited ICHQ after the Dream Theater concert. It was excellent.
Cherplunka, I know you're not big on beer, but if you ever cross paths with a bottle of Oberon, do give it a try. I think you'd like it. I hated beer until I drank Oberon. But it's brewed in Michigan, so you'd be hard pressed to find it on the west coast.
After that I tried a Stella Artois Belgian lager.. Very impressed, I liked it a lot.
I've recently discovered Kopparberg pear Cider.. Ever since my days of getting totally legless when I was 14 in the park on White Lightning, etc I can't drink Cider at all.
But after tasting this pear Cider I was hooked..
I was at the pub last night and had a Bulmers pear cider but it still tasted like the normal Apple cider and I nearly borked!!
Beer: I highly recommend anything from Flying Dog...great beer and labels full of sarcasm. Their website and slogan are irreverent and direct, "GOOD BEER. NO ****." They have a mixed pack with a Classic Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Amber Lager, Porter, Golden Ale, and India Pale Ale.
Alk-ee-hol: Go no further than Knob Creek Bourbon...stuff is unreal.
Soda: The nutrasweet monkey on my back is Diet Dr. Pepper.
I've heard Leinenkugel's is generally a good beer. What are your thoughts, Fatcat? (The fact that you're drinking it means you approve, just wondering how it compares)
I just had a Tommyknocker's Maple Nut Brown Ale the other day. Effing fantastic. I'm on a brown ale kick, now. I think I'm doing a batch of homebrew with a friend of mine soon.

MMMMmmmm Blue Label.... I'm headin' to a Weird Al concert tonight with a flask of Green. I'm not quite a "Blue buying" level yet
(I have a ICLAN09 fund started, maybe if it grows enough I can bring a bottle of Blue)

I assumed Ryder was a LAN attendee with great taste in scotch.

1 part Baileys
1 part Irish Whiskey
Mix and chill, then serve as a shot. Trust me, its good, and after 3 or 4 you will ask what truck ran you over.

Good night for drinks.

Kopparberg for the win, my new fave drink.

Also had some cherry vodka, was pretty good in cherry coke.
What else... tried some Capt Morgan pineapple rum in fruit punch. It was alright.
And I played rock band through the night well into the wee hours of the morning.
