J. K. Scrumpy's is a delicious Michigan Organic Hard Cider that is the most amazing beverage ever. If you like apple cider, this is the closest hard cider to it! It even has the settling at the bottom of the bottle... awesome.
If you can't find it out on that side of the state at a specialty liquor store, I might have to bring some for you to try next time we make it over there.
The Brooklyn Brewery: Black Chocolate Stout. It has a robust roasted flavor, countered by a mild chocolate undertone. Only bad part is the horribly bitter finish.
Lynx: the great thing about New Amsterdam is that its pretty damn good and incredibly cheap; I thought you tried some at the LAN?
Did I? ... I don't think I had any gin at the LAN. Though I tried about a million different things that night when we were deep frying white castle burgers. So maybe I did and forgot...
And here I thought it was my charm and dashing good looks...pshaw
Also: Flying Dog Double Dog IPA, do love IPAs
And just to fill in: this thing is MALTY AS HELL, delicious malts, delicious malts...with just the right amount of hops to balance it out and make it feel like I'm drinking something that is sweet, but not sickening (looking at you chocolate stouts)
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but Innis & Gunn released a new brew earlier this month and I can't wait to get my hands on it!!! The original is very good as well though and I highly recommend it. Cheers and happy drinking. ^_^

So I've seen New Amsterdam Gin mentioned a lot. I assume it's one I need to try. Does it put Tanqueray to complete shame?
