Round two left to right: uinta crooked line birthday suit 22nd anniversary, Anderson valley the Kimmie the yink and the holy gose, off color troublesome gose, Victory saison du buff.
This is some good shit.
I'm not up to posting a picture tonight and the reason is More Cowbell. It's an American Double IPA from Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. in Houston, TX. I try to drink local some of the time and domestic (craft) most of the time. This one is pretty good and 9% ABV.

Oh snap you guys. I'm in for a treat tonight. My local liquor purveyor called me earlier to inform me that they got this gem in. I have been on their wait list for a bottle for over a year at this point. I wasn't sure when or if I would actually get a bottle of it (and the liquor store wasn't either, as they never know how many bottles of it they will get, or so they told me). It's distilled by Buffalo Trace, the same people that make Pappy Van Winkle and it has spectacular reviews. I'm almost afraid to open it because I'm worried it will ruin all other rye whiskeys for me, and it's not like I can get my hands on the stuff reliably.
What is the point of sugar free liquor, it is still loaded with carbs anyways, yeah? I really wish they would out nutritional info on that stuff, it makes drinking as a diabetic a pain.
Regular distilled liquors are carb-free from a metabolic standpoint. Flavored stuff is a different story entirely.
Alcohol is different because it's processed by the liver and broken down into ketones instead of glucose, so it should generally be fine for diabetics.
Beer is usually never good because it's essentially bread in a glass.

Local store has these on clearance right now for $2 a bottle (normally $12 holy shit). Great stuff if you like pumpkin.
I only drink the blood of my enemies!
Smuttynose tap takeover at my local brewery. Bring on the sours.
From left to right:
Blueberry short weisse, daily Brett, biere de shire, rouge de shire

@artichoke, I don't think your car's cup holders are big enough for that bottle.
Made a sugar-free mint julep with stevia.
1.5oz Elijah Craig barrel proof Bourbon
1.5oz water (to bring it down to a sane proof)
6-7 mint leaves
1tsp stevia in the raw
Ice
It's Suntory time.

Correct. Regular liquors (gin, bourbon, whiskey, et. al.) are 0 carb.
This was my diabetic, gin-loving father's favorite statement
I'm going to test this. Like a glucose test for pregnant chicks, but liquor test.
Fast for the morning
Test my sugar
Down a bottle
Try not to die
Test sugar
I'll report back later!
lulz. You don't need to test it since other people have, but do recall carb free is not equal to calorie free:

Burning River Ale is my new fave.
@Linc, That's so wrong.
