    Idk if this is negotiable, but what about pushing back the St Patty Day event a week?

    I'm saying this because the event as it is now, is the week before spring break. This is when professors often like to cram in a bunch of exams and what not before students go off and party for a week. Even though I am no longer dealing with class, if I was there would be no way I would be able to take off during this time.

    If it was on 19-22, that would be during spring break... anyone who is a student, and some people (like me :D) who would for college institutions, would already be off.

    Or I can just come up to ICHQ the week after the event by myself :rolleyes:

    My spring break would begin on the 20th. So I would then have the enitre next week to do absolutely nothing (save for the professors who assign homework over breaks). So the 19-22 would probably work better for me as well.

    Ugggh, I was hoping this was one of the years most of the colleges were having SB at the same time. :(

    Florida always has an early spring break. Some of the theories include: we go up north for spring break (skiing), its already "warm" (still cool to us) by that time, and so that we can come back in time to party with the Northern schools.

    St Patrick's Day is always the 17th of March. Hence the closest weekend to that date. The dates for ICSP are not set in stone like the other events though.

    I am open to opinions for ICSP.

    Hey don't change the date to accommodate me if its going to screw other people. Seriously, if the current date is better for others, then don't worry about it. I don't even know if it would be possible for me to get up there.

    Icrontic is buying the apartment complex between ICHQ and Ron's Cafe. Everyone is required to move to this location before ICSP09.

    Good guess. It's a family reunion, my cousin's wedding, and a promise to my aging grandmother that I'd be there to see her the weekend of the 20th. I missed my chance to see my grandfather until he was literally on his deathbed, and I don't want to make that mistake with my grandmother as well.

    Unfortunately, that makes this scheduling conflict something that can't be FIXT. In this case it's because I choose to attend the family events that week, so if that means I miss the EPIC with my Icrontic family then so be it. I'll miss you guys greatly but I do (and will in the future) get to see you all more than I have seen and will see my grandmother.

    Hmmm... I might still be in Cincinnati for that weekend so I could possibly hitch a ride with some of the Cincy IC guys... My Masters Graduation is June 12th and I think Suzy has something planned for the 20th so I might be able to swing this again... I promise I won't bring a Queen Sized air mattress this time either.

    Please Note: Expo dates have changed back to original dates!

    REASON:

    I screwed up. A couple weeks ago I got ahold of prime asking if we could move the expo back a week because I couldn't get the original dates off from work. (Not enough senority) He was gracious enough to agree.

    Today when I verified my vacation for the year, (my work requires all vacations for the year be submitted and approved by Jan. 31st) I realized I had the week of June 21-27th off, and that the week I had told prime was all taken.

    So, the Expo is back to its original dates. To those who this effects, I sincerely apologize. If you are pissed and want to vent, please PM me, as prime and keebler had nothing to do with the date changes.

    Futhermore, these dates ARE SET. If something comes up I can't attend, THEY WILL NOT CHANGE. I'm not exactly happy with myself, and having to change the dates back to what they were. But I am man enough to admit, I screwed up.
