We were all floored. It was a REAL song. We all thought it must be some song by a poor retarded kid that got popular virally or something. Or that the DJ was trollin' us.
Nope. It's real. And that's the music video, too. With hot girls dancing. WTF. Sometimes reality is stranger (or more hilarious) than fiction.
Oh, when I heard "the wiggle song" I thought you meant LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I Know It" ALSO a hilarious music video...but....not girls dancin' around. XD
Yesterday as I mentioned I was at a party where beyond video games and the like we watched MLP FiM as a good majority of us at the party were bronies (Much to the dismay of the two who weren't, at least at first.)
Well here goes.
It was a friends 18th birthday so after cake, etc we all returned to the 'game room'
Me: Today my friend you shall become a...
Friend: A man
Me: No, well yes, I meant to say that today you become a Brony!
Friend: Not likely
Whelp three hours and several episodes of MLP later everyone in the room was huddled around the 'Pony' laptop watching intently whereon my friend said.
If you're feeling brave, we're having an Icrontic stream of the show later this week (probably wednesday), so you could always use the excuse "just hanging out with Icrontic" when your fiance asks

My worlds are colliding. We have Camman, who was a core member back in the day, and UPSLynx, who is a core member now... and they probably don't know who each other is, and it's weird? for me? But not? But is?
I keep forgetting that the announced stream times are PST not EST I was like 'crap I have work Thursday' but then I remembered that the stream isn't on till 10 my time.

Also dat Spike pic, anyone know which character 'evil Spike' was modeled on because to me he looks vaguely like Professor Fate.
Villainous Spike strikes me as more of a stereotypical 1800's villain, but a very good archtype character that fits this description is Snidely Whiplash, of the Dudley Do-Right shorts in Rocky & Bullwinkle. He sported the tophat, easily-twirled mustache, dark cape, and propensity to be seen tying maidens to train tracks.

But I'm feeling I need to embrace my nerdiness once again, and the fiancee is very supportive of that, so here it goes again.
I am already excited about the welcoming comments from everybody and inviting me to the pony simulcast deal, I see people say it on here time and again and it's totally true, this place is really a different type of community from the typical internet forum and just making a single post I already feel welcomed back, thanks guys!

Really there's no need to be secretive about watching MLP:FiM its a damn good show and most people could care less if someone watches it or not.
