    What about something like kudos for things that are actually helpful? Awesome can technically encompass that, but it just kind of emphasizes just how broad Awesome is.

    Since you mentioned this as being something of a 'karma' system in the article, is there a negative repercussion to being labeled off topic? I hope not, since this is Icrontic, after all.

    Also, before I read the "Promote" subtext I thought that graphic was showing the Icrontic salute.

    'Awesome' and 'LOL' are apparently +1 to your user score (the score that determines your place on the scoreboard).

    'Off topic' is -1 to the same. :/

    It also appears that five 'off topic' votes buries the post. I really think that particular set of functionality takes away something that is truly Icrontian - the fact that we can take posts waaaaaaay off topic but still manage to add value and maintain a sense of camaraderie.
