My new Vostok Amphibia finally made it here from Moscow. I love it!! I put on a Nato band I got from Sectime. This is absolutely my new favorite watch.
Sigh... glorious people's watch has already locked up. I guess I'll have to take it in for repairs so somebody can find the tiny little CTRL-ALT-DEL buttons.
It happened once before in the middle of the day, but I wound it a bit, and it started ticking again. This time it stopped after I fully wound it at the beginning of the day. No, I didn't tweak the crown 'till next Sunday or anything.
I may not be above wearing a stuck watch for the sake of fashion at Prime's wedding. I trust no one will point out the shame of it all.

A non-functional watch is just a watch-shaped bracelet, and that's silly.
@gargoyle Also, depending on who the seller is, they may replace it. A couple of the eBay Vostok vendors have pretty good reputations for customer service.

I'll give it a shot!

I decided I wanted to see what an actual hueg watch looked like on my wrist, so I found one on the cheap that I liked the look of.
50mm. It is omghueg. Also, it didn't come with any sort of documentation and I have no idea what all the numbers are for besides decoration. It seems to work, though, and it has date/day indicators which is neat. I haven't figured out how to set the small middle dial yet, though.
So, what y'all think about massive watch on my wrist? I don't hate it, but I do think it looks a little goofy. Not sure if that's just because I'm not used to it or not.
0300: Days of the month 0600: 24-hour hand 0900: Day of the week 1-7
THe other numbers are a tachymetre, but I don't know how to read one, so I can't tell you if it's accurate. This is a common Breitling design cue.
The little dials work surprisingly well. It was the tachymeter I was curious about. A quick read on Wikipedia tells me it's more complicated than I care to bother learning unless I have a need.
After wearing it for a while, I think I agree, but I'm gonna give it a good week to see if I get used to it. If I decide I'm just not rocking it, I'll probably see if anyone here is interested.

Leaning towards this one as my next anyone have any other suggestions around 80 bucks?

...for plastic watches? Yeah, nevermind, these will likely not touch my wrist.

I'd never heard of Nooka, but they've got some neat digital watch designs. Not sure any digital watch is worth more than 30$, though. :/
