I enjoyed getting to know the companions, well most of them. With 4.0 you don't need to buy companion gifts. The conversations trigger based on where you are in the story arc, so just getting through Act 3 will unlock all 5 of you companions.

Healing output from all companions has been significantly reduced. Treek is the exception here and a few of her healing abilities got buffed.
Self healing for tank companions has been significantly reduced.
The type of gifts that companions like has been significantly altered. All companions now "love" at least one type of gift.

I loaded it up out of boredom, and been putzing around doing class story stuff. No guarantee I'd stick with it enough to do major things, but if the guild was still going I'd love to poke my head in.

Happy to see that my annihilation, marksman, and deception specs are up there. Telekinetics not so good
Pyrotech/Plasmatech and Concealment/Scrapper took the biggest hit while Deception/Infiltration and Marksman/Sharpshooter got the biggest buffs

Well right - sorry, I thought you were indicating that you'd maxed influence on all of them.
you get the +10 presence and the achievement by just doing all conversations with them. I doubt I'll max any companion to level 50 (250,000 influence)

as a guild, we're not. @Snarkasm got married, and @Cyclonite and @Charity bought/own a vet clinic now.
I'm still playing and have joined a progression raid guild on Jedi Covenant
