Recently, we published a video showing my son playing the new Halo Reach beta, sitting alongside Icrontic contributor Bobby “UPSLynx” Miller. We posted it on popular gaming news site News4Gamers, part of the Newsboiler network.
Now, let me start by saying that we love N4G. Several Icrontic members are also participating members of the N4G community, and we love the service they provide. We’re also very excited that they’ve taken the “peer-review” news model (in which members approve stories) to the tech news world with their new site TechSpy.
However, some of the people who comment on N4G stories leave a bit to be desired. Bobby, Robert Hallock and I were sitting around talking the other night and we realized that the comments on that story really represent several internet archetypes—so we set up a camera, pushed record, and talked about it.
