The Indie Gala launches its first game bundle

Another day, another indie game bundle. This time, the incipient Indie Gala are getting in on the act with their first pay-what-you-want bundle featuring five indie titles and two bonus games for purchases made in the next two days. Both the concept and execution will be familiar for anyone who’s purchased any of the Humble Bundles in the past—you select the amount you wish to pay, decide how to split it between the game developers, the charitable options (from Save the Children and Childs Play), and the organisers ‘tip’. One difference from the Humble Bundle (and indeed the Indie Royale) is that your games can only be redeemed on Steam—no Desura and no direct downloads—so you’ll only get Windows versions of any games purchased.

That said, let’s get onto the games themselves.

The core five-game bundle starts with Zombie Shooter 2, an isometric action RPG which places you in the middle of a fight for survival against literally hundreds of zombies with just your wits and 60 different weapons to protect you from the undead hordes. inMomentum is a first person take on platformers where speed is everything—you compete either against the clock or with other players to complete the course by the fastest route possible. Next up is Hacker Evolution: Duality, unsurprisingly a hacking simulation game. It’s the continuation of the Hacker Evolution series—it’s reminiscent of Uplink in that you hack into various computers around the world by whatever means to complete objectives and/or acquire the funds for upgrades, but with a very slick-looking modern interface. Fourth is Saira, a puzzle-platform game in which you guide the eponymous Saira through a non-linear series of puzzles in her quest to find out how she came to be the last remaining person in the galaxy. Finally for the core bundle is Your Doodles Are Bugged! the puzzle game where the art style from Crayon Physics meets the gameplay from Lemmings.

Purchasing within the first two days of this bundle will get you the core bundle listed above along with two bonus games, the first Zombie Shooter and Hacker Evolution: Untold as well as some DLC for Your Doodles Are Bugged! and the main theme from Zombie Shooter series. So what are you waiting for? Grab these indie games for potentially a fraction of the usual cost, support a charity and enjoy!

CB I wish it let me choose which charities on their list I want the cash to go to. I don't know all those charities, and I don't like giving to charities I don't know.

Cliff_Forster CO Davido07, I think you raise some good points.

I think its a sad commentary on society when you look at the average bundle price right now at it's at $1.34

If you looked at past Humble Bundles, a few big contributors will come along a drive the average up a bit. I think that's nice and all, but really, if your not going to con

Bandrik Up until watching the new My Little Pony series, I for the life of me cannot think of any times I've heard the word "gala" used before.

And of course, now that I have, it's popping up in REAL LIFE. This is the 3rd instance. The first was a gala/party I walked by at the Rosemont convention center in Chicago. #2 was the South Bend, IN Rotary Club Winter Gala party that I did some invitations for at my job. And now this.

PONIES GET OUT OF MY LIFE!!

Just kidding. Ponies can invade real life anytime.

You can now grab two Robot Science albums with your bundles, just use the resend keys option on the indiegala homepage to get the download links.
