Re: Movie Classics/Must see
These are movies I've seen that I recommend:
The Usual Suspects
Godfather Parts I & II
any Stanley Kubrick film, but especially The Shining and Dr. Strangelove
Apocalypse Now
Raging Bull
Goodfellas
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Apartment
Glengarry Glen Ross
Serpico
Knight Moves
The Conversation
The Exorcist
Rosemary's Baby
Animal House
Stripes
The Producers (the original Mel Brooks, not the crappy remake)
The Taking of Pelham 123
The Warriors
Caddyshack
Airplane! (and to a lesser extent, The Kentucky Fried Movie)
This is Spinal Tap
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Jerk
Princess Bride
Blues Brothers
The Graduate
Marathon Man
Trading Places
48 Hours
Beverley Hills Cop
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Taxi Driver
American History X
Fight Club
Braveheart
The Sting
Inherit the Wind
Scent of a Woman
American Beauty
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Being John Malkovich
Adaptation
Memento
Seven
12 Angry Men
The Pianist
Jaws
E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial
That ought to keep him busy for a while.

Re: Movie Classics/Must see
I started down a weird path with my list and realized you wanted classics/important movies:
- Casablanca
- Any Hitchcock
- Bladerunner
- Star Wars (all of them)
- Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (tbh, all of them that were made before 1990)
- James Bond: Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, Living Daylights, GoldenEye, and then all the Daniel Craig films in order
- Young Frankenstien
- Princess Bride
- Blazing Saddles
- The Great Escape
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
- Saving Private Ryan
- Schindler's List (get ready for some feels)
- Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (important british film)
That's all I got off the top of my head right now
Mixtape Massacre
My friends and I found an amazing kickstarter game called Mixtape Massacre. After playing a couple times I knew this game was one for Icrontic! I gifted the game to @humerusmeg for her birthday and played it with her @mertesn and some of her local friends. In addition to this, the game is now running a kickstarter for the expansion. After receiving permission from @linc I have backed the expansion of this game and listed the donor as Icrontic. The kickstarter has successfully met its goal for the expansion by 148%. Sometime in November the original game, the expansion and some swag will show up at Icrontic. In the rule booklet the list of donors will be published and Icrontic will be listed as one of them!! In addition some swag items from the kickstarter will be held for Expo 2018 prizes. I can't wait to play this game with all of you!! Look for it at NYE!!!!

Re: Rosie: A Detroit Herstory
Just had a few folks donate from work where I posted in our Slack. Go Go!
Rosie: A Detroit Herstory
Nicole, aka @PinkInDetroit has been furiously drawing her little fingers off recently and it's because she's been deep in the throes of giving birth to an awesome children's book called Rosie: A Detroit Herstory.
Rosie tells the tale of Detroit's "Rosie the Riveters", the women who helped fuel the war machine that ultimately secured an Allied victory against the Nazi empire.
The book is nearly complete, and is written simply enough to be considered a "children's book" but they're pretty sure adults are going to love it too. Bailey, the author, is also the purveyor of Detroit History Tours, and she doesn't mess around when it comes to historical research.
The project was fully funded on Kickstarter after only a day and a half. If you would like to get a copy, you can find out more about the book and order your copy on Kickstarter.

Re: Missouri (2) : Part 2
Day Four
The day I have been waiting for the most! I get to spend part of my day at the National WWI Museum....ALONE! Then I might be going around to some antique stores to see what I can find. Hopefully, I can be able to swing by a Vintage Stock store and pick up a game that I've been wanting for so long. The day looks good for me!
Re: Playing Magic at ICHQ & nearby
Soto and I had a great 5 hours of gaming on Saturday and won a few packs for our efforts. Hour of Devastation is a real challenging set for limited deck building - I didn't really understand how to best play my deck until the second match.
I'm definitely down to play again this Saturday @Stack and @MAGIC (and anyone else).
July 15th
Hour of Devastation Draft Day
1:00pm Start
Drafts fire as we get pods of 8

Re: The Cloverfield Universe and my nerd theory about it: MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING I TELL THE WHOLE PLOT
I said, "I have one thing to say to you"
"Cloverfield is Half-Life"
I wanted to see the look on his face.
He paused, looked down for a minute as if to calculate his next words.
"That's an interesting theory. I like it"
Then he told me that there was a new Cloverfield movie coming out in October and that I would love it and it's "going to be nuts"
