Another lovely and flattering shot of keebs' beauty nap on my floor:

please tell me that you did at least one of the following to him:

    teabagged him (a classic)
put his hand in a dish of warm water....and then peed on him (a fun variation of a classic).

Holy Cow. I didn't know Foghat was still performing. I saw them in 1983. Uriah Heap was their opener.

I'm going to assume that this is something your dad turned you on to. Am I in the ballpark?

The nerds had a field day at sarcnet industries' regional HQ.. They were fairly excited by all the neato telco gear we have here. Thrax in particular was fond of the tone generator.....

Actually that's an inductive amplifier in his hand, the complement of the tone generator. :)

I don't know if I'm just old or lead a sheltered life but what is "teabagging"?

So anyway... that was one of the best weekends ever

I'll be back at Brian's again before the end of summer I hope... the Fourth of July probably :cool2:

There was something truly mind-numbing about riding in a car with primesuspect, Mr. Kwitko, mmonnin, and Thrax. I've known them all for more than a year and a half now, and finally meeting them all at the same time was on the "awesome" side of weird  And -tk rules. It's true.

Marc is right - there is no way we could ever duplicate this perfect photo if we tried. This was a one take shot - we set the camera on a 10 second delay, and said "everybody look emo and filled with angst, like a sensitive college band"... This was the result. Comedy gold.

Amazingly, we actually coordinated our angst. I said, "monnnnnnnnninnnnnnn, look right! Keebs, look up! Prime, look straight! Fine, then just pretend! Thrax, look left, and I'll look down! In a moment of pure cosmic geekmantouchemoangstdom, everyone there did what they were supposed to do, and for a fleeting moment, all was well in the world.

Wait till you guys see the pictures of day 3 of debauchery... Since i have no internet access at the new crib yet, it'll be a day or so before I get the pics up. Let's just say TheSMJ wanted some old pros to get him drunk, and as of this moment still (2:42 PM EST) TheSMJ is still sleeping on my kitchen table.

Mmonnin and -tk are evil, bad men.

Great shots and narrative.. On the subject of the infamous "man-kiss".. If you look closely at the previous pic (post #31) Notice that Thrax is looking particularly sad and vulnerable.. I postulate that Seth (Perceptive dude that he is..) - sensing Thrax's fragile state - felt obliged to show him some love.

Lots of beer plus sleep deprivation plus Thrax's irresistable eyebrow plus emotional vulnerability- we had just reminded him of Intel's decision to use a performance rating for their chips- and well, you know, things just sort of happen.

The mantouch vibe :wtf: was in the air. What can I say?
